Optical Sensor for Aerospace
MIOC is a key component in an Interferometric Fiber Optic Gyroscope (IFOG) for positioning aerospace object with extreme precision. Our MIOC has integrated five electro-optics functions onto a single chip measured 20mm x 2mm x 1mm in dimension. It has been qualified for less than 0.1 deg/hour angular velocity measurement application.
Lithium Niobate waveguide modulator offers more power efficiency, environment tolerance and reliability than other modulators built with InP or silicon photonics material. We have developed optical phase and intensity modulators operating at 1064, 1310 or 1550nm wavelength with 10G/20G bandwidth.
Custom Design Application
We custom design polarizer, phase modulator, intensity modulator, splitter, combiner, anti-reflection I/O and multi-function integrated chips. We work with our customers from initial concept formation through functional design and layout. Our fabrication service can be dynamically arranged to meet customer’s request for small or large quantity production. We implement additional chip-level testing requirements from OEM/ODM customer. We also make pigtails and package device per custom design.
