About Company

Polaris Photonics is a vertically integrated photonics company headquartered in Taiwan, focused on space optical communication systems, high-performance optoelectronic modules, and advanced quantum photonic technologies. The company is the only provider in Taiwan with full in-house capabilities for the design and fabrication of high-frequency Thin-Film Lithium Niobate (TFLN) optical chipsets, enabling tight control over performance, yield, and intellectual property.

Polaris operates three dedicated facilities. The first supports photonic chipset fabrication, including TFLN and lithium niobate–based platforms. The second facility focuses on system-level and module-level manufacturing, producing LN modulators, MIOC sensors for fiber-optic gyroscopes (FOGs), ASE light sources, and quantum light sources. The third facility, currently under development, is a strategic joint venture with U.S.-based Optilab, established to co-develop optical communication terminal (OCT) systems and subsystems for space laser communication and to accelerate the global commercialization of next-generation TFLN technologies.
